Qur’an or Music?
Yesterday night a sister told me “When I listen to the Qur’an I get terrified and I don’t want to feel that way I’d rather listen to music and feel numb”.
I replied “What you said is an interpretation of saying you don’t want to go Jannah because your afraid but you wish to go Jahhanam because you would rather feel numb.”
The Shaytaan influences us so much without us knowing, he slowly drags us off the deen. Many times we don’t realise that we have said something wrong because our Imaan is very low Subhannallah.
